Kolb to deliver McDonnell lectures

Edward W. Missouri legislators can overturn voter-approved initiatives

Last November, Missouri voters approved Proposition B, which amended state law to more strictly regulate large-scale dog breeders. Now, Prop B is set to be repealed if the Missouri House of Representatives and Gov. Jay Nixon follow the state senate’s lead. Can this happen in every state? Humanitarian, Marine vet Rye Barcott to speak March 30

Rye Barcott, author of It Happened on the Way to War: A Marine’s Path to Peace, will present a lecture titled “Spark Change from Within” at 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, in the Brown Hall Lounge.   • Baseball splits doubleheader with Illinois College. Senior first baseman Matt Skinner led the baseball team to a doubleheader split (7-2, 4-5) against Illinois College at home March 22. Skinner batted 6-for-7 with five RBIs and three runs scored, hitting three doubles and a home run. WUSTL (11-11) returns to action today when it hosts the University of Wisconsin-Platteville at 3 p.m.
